새학기 관련 영어표현들 - school.class.junior.graduation etc.

안녕하세요 여러분~~

오늘은 새 학기를 맞이하며 학교관련 영어 표현들을 알아볼까 해요.

누구나 알고 있을 표현이기도 하지만 또 누군가는 궁금하실 수 있어서 적어봅니다.^^

 

 

  유치원 = kindergarten

내딸은 매일 유치원에 가요.

My daughter goes to kindergarten everyday.

   초등학교 = elementary school

노아는 올해 초등학교에 입학해.

Noah enters elementary school this year.

  중학교 = middle school = junior high school

우리 집 근처에 중학교가 있어.

There is a junior high school near my house.

  고등학교 = high school

나는 작년에 고등학교를 졸업했어요.

I graduated from high school last year.

  대학교 = college = university

그녀는 2020년에 대학교에 들어갔다.

She entered college 2020.

 

 

교실 = classroom

교실에서 놀자.

Let's play in the classroom.

  칠판 = blackboard

그 단어를 칠판에 써봐.

Write the word on the blackboard.

  분필 = chalk

분필 좀 가져다 줄래?

please ,get me a chalk.

 

 

  교복 = uniform

난 교복을 사야해

I need to get the uniform.

  교칙 = rule

교칙을 어기지 마.

Don't break rules.

  시간표 = timetable

너는 시간표를 따라야해.

You should follow a timetable.

  숙제.과제 = homework = paper

숙제는 스스로 하렴.

Do your homework by yourself.

내일까지 과제를 제출하세요.

Submit the paper by tomorrow.

 

 

쉬는시간 = break

쉬는 시간에 친구들과 논다.

I play on break with my friends.

  운동장 = playground

그들은 운동장에서 뛰는 것을 좋아한다.

They like to run on the playground. 

  수업 = class

오후에 수업을 빼먹었어.

I skipped my classes in the afternoon.

  시험 = exam

그는 그 시험에 통과했다.

He passed the exam.

  커닝 = cheating

내가 커닝 페이퍼를 만들었어.

I wrote the cheating paper.

  성적표  = transcript

오늘 성적표를 받았어.

I got a transcript today.

 

 

 입학 = admission

 졸업 = gradution

 선배 = senior

 후배 = junior

 중퇴 = school dropout

 등록금 = tuition

 휴학 = leave of absence

 장학금 = scholarship
